Medium Prom Hair Styles

There is no written rule that you must wear an updo hair style to Prom.  Although an updo hair style does look elegant for the prom, there are many other options for you and your hair.

If you have medium length hair, there are several different styling options for you to try out to create a different look from your everyday medium hair style look.

For starters, you can add some fringe or wispy bangs, part your hair differently, or try clip in hair extensions.  Use of hairpieces and jeweled barrettes can also add a very sophisticated look to your medium length hair.

See examples on this page of how you can wear your medium length hair to the prom.

The hair style pictured left features long layers that start at chin level and taper down to the ends.

This hair style will work great for any occasion, even the prom.  Decorative hairpins or clips can be added, or you could just wear a decorative choker necklace with matching earrings.

The medium hair style, pictured left, features a lot of layering.  This is definitely a high maintenance hair style, since most of the time layers have a mind of their own.

The ends are blunt cut and the hair is styled to be stick straight, with a deep side part.

Long, side swept bangs and angles frame the face making this a great choice for a prom hair style.

Customize this style further by adding a decorative barrette or even small flowers.
